The December 8 Town Board Meeting , with 4 members in attendance, consisted of a wrap of 2025 and getting teed up for 2026. During the Public Portion of the agenda, a resident made a very heart warming gesture of thanks to retiring Council person Angela Bettina with her comments and a gift of a bouquet of roses. Business as Usual at Planning Board Meeting
The December 1 Town of Wappinger Planning Board meeting agenda consisted of fairly routine matters, though a discussion about what the designation of an Historic District or Greenway trail highlighted the fact that the town hasn't done anything to futher refine or update zoning codes to help preserve the elements that enabled the awarding of those designations in the first place (a period of at least 25 years).
