Amended Site Plans

The June 2 Town of Wappinger Planning Board Meeting dealt with Amended site plans. Given that many of the original site plans are apparently lost in the mixed up files of the Town of Wappinger -- the term "amendment" should perhaps be used loosely.
The first project to be reviewed was Kingdom Hall at 383 All Angels Hill Road. This facility is being refreshed to update the building facade, replace some external lighting, relocate some of the accessible parking and update the sign. The engineer for the project reviewed the items, noting that Central Hudson, from whom some of the lighting is rented, will not change the height of the poles to conform to town code, but will adjust the color temperature of the lighting. The remaining lights will be put on timers/motion detectors - the schedule of which will be provided to the board at the next meeting. The applicant needs to apply for a special use permit... and that has to be provided a public notice
The Public Hearing was opened - no public spoke, but was kept open for the July 21 meeting, because there are additional items that are still unresolved.
The next topic was the amended site plan for T-Mobile Antenna Co-location at 30-40 Soccerfield Drive. They would like to add a concrete pad and add machinary at the base of the tower, in addition to increase and add a diesel generator (which includes diesel fuel, self-contained).
The compound is fully fenced. The SEQR process still needs to be completed. The antenna's will not be higher than the current height. No RFI analysis is required. A public hearing is required - and was scheduled for July 21. There was no mention of all the open building permits that were mentioned at the last Planning Board meeting.
A request for an extension for the Bertero Subdivision on 100 Stonykill Road from February 6, 2025 through February 5, 2026 was approved.
Not on the agenda - was a discussion about the site plan amendments for the property on 561-563 Old State Road. The Director of Strategic Planning and Municipal Codes told the board that the applicant felt like the recent site visits closed out any questions from the Planning Board and he was good to go. By non-verbal actions, the Planning board indicated this was not the case and the Director of Strategic Planning and Municipal Codes indicated that her office would reach out to the applicant and get him back in front of board. The town engineer and highway supervisor have visited the site and were going to look at the storm water situation again, after the large amount of rain recently, but their concerns were less about water on the roads, and more about water on the property. Four planning board members of the planning board did visit the site - they have questions about some screening plantings, opening up some areas that had black-top installed.
