Water Main Break - Blackthorn Loop

10:15 a.m. April 10 The Town of Wappinger has been made aware of a watermain break on Blackthorn Loop that will affect residents on Blackthorn Loop and the surrounding area. Residents will experience low water pressure and periodic outages in order to facilitate the repair.

CAMO Pollution Control has REPAIRED the watermain break on Blackthorn Loop that affected residents on Blackthorn Loop and the surrounding area.

The break has been repaired and the system is beginning to pressurize. Discolored water will be common and the opening of larger water lines in the home such as tubs will help clear this issue quicker. The water is potable, sanitary and safe for cooking and bathing.
