Zoning Board actions for Hughsonville/Wheeler Hill - October 25

The October 25 Zoning Board Meeting included several public hearings and items for discussion. Of interest to the Hughsonville/Wheeler Hill communities are:

A request to subdivide 39 Middlebush Road and provide a variances on lot width and a variance of 9,304 feet for the lot were granted. The restaurant building (with its own water and septic) will be a separate lot, and the building will be replaced with a residence.

The owners of 98-116 Dusty Trail, which consists of 19 acres currently has 6 accessory structures where no more than two are currently allowed in a 1 Family residential district. The Board will visit the site on November 5 and a public hearing is scheduled for November 9 to discuss a variance for the accessory structures.

Hudson Valley Office Furniture will be occupying two store fronts in Alpine Commons and has requested a variance for wall signs. The public hearing is November 9.
